Biography (Professional Experience & Professional Accomplishments)

Engr. Dr. Ngozi Eli-Chukwu is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike, Ebonyi State Nigeria. She is also the Acting Director, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at AEFUNAI. She holds a degree in Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and a Master of Engineering degree (M.ENG.)  in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Communication System Engineering option) from the Enugu State University of Science and technology in 2003 and 2008, respectively. Also, she obtained a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Project Management from the University of Liverpool United Kingdom in 2015 and a doctoral degree of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Communication System Option) from ESUT Nigeria. She has published widely in top tier journal and has been cited by many academics in Engineering.

As the Acting Director ICT reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, Engr. Dr.  Ngozi Eli-Chukwu with her team oversees all issues relating to ICT in the University; development of University ICT policy, software development, deployment and management,  university website management, multimedia support services,  installation, maintenance, and management of the University Computer networks, deployment of internet access, student and staff portal management solution, management of student and staff email accounts, initiate relationship for collaboration with other agencies in communication. Provide ICT support to the all the units, departments, faculties, and directorates of the university.  Develop performance evaluation template for all ICT support services internally, with vendors and third parties.

She has served the University community in various capacities. she was prior to her appointment as the  Director ICT,   the Acting Head, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike, a position in which she championed effective governance, transformative teaching and multidisciplinary research in collaboration with other academic and professional  colleagues in the department.

Prior to joining AE-FUNAI, she was the head Technical Service Unit at Gil Resource an Internet Service Provider before her sojourn into the financial sector of the economy where she has taken leadership positions in different units.
