FACULTY OF HUMANITIES
Established at the inception of the University, Faculty of Humanities used to be Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences until 2016 when Faculty of Management and Social Sciences was carved out from it
To build and sustain a world-class learning environment that is student-centred and to provide excellent education, research and professional practices in the broad areas of the Humanities and Social Sciences.
- To emphasize the intellectual and personal development of its students and staff as a way of maintaining a vibrant and enriching intellectual environment.
- To produce high quality graduates that would be of benefit to not only the local community, the state, the region, the nation and the international community at large.
- To collaborate with, and establish strategic partnerships with highly ranked universities, also to professional bodies and private and public sector organizations in its quest for knowledge.
