Ifeoma M Nweze is a Nigerian and a Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages, Faculty of Arts, Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndifu-Alike Nkwo Ebonyi state, Nigeria. Her discipline is Linguistics/Igbo. Her area of specialization is Syntax and Semantics. She is a renowned Linguist. Going through her publications lately, her major area of focus in the publications is Linguistics/Igbo drawing emphasis on the syntax, semantics and sociolinguistics and Psycholinguistics.

Her teaching career started in State Secondary Schools in Nigeria where she taught for some years. She began her lecturing job at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She later joined the services of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndifu-Alike Nkwo, Nigeria in the above department in the year 2013.  Currently, she is teaching Syntax, Socio and Psycholinguistics. Outside her area, Prof. Ifeoma Nweze mentors and supervises students. She has made much impact in both her area and outside her area. As a seasoned and experienced teacher, she is at home with her profession and field of study. Her contributions to the field of Linguistics and Igbo are evident in her publications.
